The Airviro installation is a normal English city council Airviro
installation including data collection, EDB and Dispersion. It is
enhanced with data collection of traffic flows from the Leicester
SCOOT system. The SCOOT system provides real time data flow for
approximately 300 roads in Leicester, these flows are stored as
time series in the Airviro time series database.
Roads in EDB are linked to the traffic flows and the measured
traffic flows are used in emission calculations and dispersion simulations.
Now cast simulations are made for 4 different substances each hour,
producing air quality maps of the impact of current traffic and other
estimated emissions sources.
